Please do not pass these harmful requirements. I cannot imagine the mayhem this will create. These recommended standards cause confusion in children/young adults, remove parents (who in most situations care about these children more than any one else, and by the way, pay the taxes for the public school system to educate their children) from involvement in their children's lives, and endanger children, especially girls, to harmful situations.
Furthermore, there is no provision for exception or accommodation for those who conscientiously oppose. In every way this is harmful to all students. Conscientious and concerned parents will have no choice but to withdraw their students from the public system. Perhaps that may be the best outcome from this entire onslaught. Parents care about their children, care for their children, raise their children, and pay for their children. VDOE must listen to the outcry of the parents!
