Is it possible that children have discovered that they can extract time, effort, and attention from peers and adults around them when they claim to have gender demands? Many children love to have their emotional needs met through attention-getting behaviors. What would be the response of biological males being on a swim team with a biological female who identifies as male and goes topless at swim meets? How many incidents will take place in rest rooms and locker rooms and showers when the biological opposites are mixed to achieve emotional equality, when physical equality does not exist? Whatever has happened to protecting the innocence of children until they reach a legal age that allows them to be responsible and make decisions that will serve them well? Society protects children through expectations regarding child care, nutrition, safety in cars, inoculations, smoking, alcohol consumption, driving, etc. Why are we letting them, and in some instances encouraging them, to make decisions that will be devastating to them later? Are some parents using their children for their own emotional gratification?
