Oppose elimination of exemptions

I strongly oppose the elimination of exemptions!  I am military spouse with 2 young kids and have an active duty spouse that has unpredictable working hours.  Therefore, for me to have a job that will accomodate both our schedules is unheard of.  I never get a second to myself while my children are awake, hourly care at the CDC on Fort Belvior is a joke.  Its booked every day all day long.  I told my husband I was super stressed out and I needed time for myself and thats when I found Honest Soul Yoga.  They offer child minding at the 9:45am classes Monday-Friday.  I was sold!  I could bring my son with me to yoga.  I was very nervous the first time I dropped him off at child minding due to the fact that no one besides family has watched him before.  Staff was very friendly and they were moms themselves.  My son got loving care, we were happy.  Then a child minding position opened up and I got offered the job.  Here I am 6 months later, loving my job and meeting new moms and their children.  We care for them like they are our own, like any parent would want.  I have made good relationships with the parents and children, I would hate to lose my job because other establishments have neglected kids.  Please do not sign this bill, you will take away jobs and business away from the ones that count on kids programs, like military spouses and single parents.  For us to be the great parents that we need to be, we need a second to ourselves, to decompress and work out, thats why its crucial for a fitness center, especially around here, to have a child care option.  All the day care centers here are overcrowded and full.  We will lose a lot of options for working parents.  They will have to quit their jobs to stay at home because simply, child care is too expensive and the all good reviewed ones are all full.  Please reconsider
