Proposed changes for childcare

Staff should have CPR certification

The ratio shoud remian the same as it is now. No changes as it would affect the cost of tuition

16 & 17 year old aids are needed to be able to work independently  the first and last hour of school  to support the staff  and relive the teachers

Providing a wriiten  policy is not needed to ensure adequate care .

Diectors and staff does not need a  high level or education to care for children appropritaly. associaties degree, BA/BA degree or 12 credits is appropriate  and a CDA

The cuurent policy for reporting injuries is acceptable. The parnet can report injusries  to DDS at anytime

We love our childcare and would not want  regulartoty change sto affect the staffing  or tuition. Some of these policies are just red tape and make it more diificult for some of the smaller family owned less expenive child care centers that perform an excellen job
