Clean Energy Policy Necessary Now

Attention Department of Environmental Quality:

Like Governor McAuliffe, I believe that your leadership in a clean energy policy will go a long way in making Virginia proactive in easing climate change. Investments in alternative energy such as wind and solar will not only encourage more efforts in providing cleaner utilities for Virginia residents and businesses, but the development of these types of energy will also greatly reduce the effects of carbon pollution and the detrimental impact upon air, water and land.

Please take a definitive and positive move forward for the state of Virginia and its occupants. Do not limit the state's future to the dismisal political turmoil of our federal bureaucracy.

Thank you.

Avra Leigh
