Respectfully, I oppose any further erosion of the right to defend oneself in any and all environments wherein freedom and liberty loving folks may choose to be, on any occasion, for any lawful purpose. Creating "gun free zones" simply caters and encourages unlawful individuals to commit crimes without fear of immediate actions being taken against them. Our outstanding law enforcement agencies are simply not sufficient to be everywhere at all times. It is a personal responsibility to take care of oneself, therefore I OPPOSE banning lawfully carried firearms in state agency buildings.
