I Oppose the Proposed Regulation

Restricting the lawful activities of one of, if not the, most law-abiding categories of residents in our Commonwealth will not improve the safety of anyone, and may reduce the safety of those so restricted.  Creating a "gun free zone" in public offices is simply an invitation to those seeking to do harm.  It is no coincidence that virtually every mass shooting occurs in a "gun free zone".  Criminals, by definition, do not obey the rules!

Rather than adopting more laws and regulations, let's focus on enforcing those already in effect -- and punish severely the commonly-reported "gun in possession of a convicted felon" and similar offenses.  We recognize that it is much more difficult to bring criminals into line than it is to issue prohibitions to those who intend to obey lawful orders -- but the primary function of government is the protection of its citizens!
