I strongly oppose this unnecessary regulation

This is an unnecessary regulation looking for a problem to solve that does not exist.  In addition it seeks to deprive me, a law abiding citizen, of my rights to carry a firearm for self defense.  The facilities for which the governor seeks to make his regulation permanent provide services (DMV, ABC, etc.) that I cannot secure from another providers that are not located in a gun free zones.  In other words I have no option but to use the state facilities which would be in gun free zones if this policy is made permanent.  It's also important to note that the governor has not provided any meaningful reason to put this policy into effect in the first place.  There have been no shootings in any of these facilities that I'm aware of that would endanger the employees of the Commonwealth or citizens that transact business in these government buildings.  I fail to see how denying me my right to carry a concealed handgun with a permit into these buildings is enhancing anyone's safety or security.
