Firearms have no place in state building - we need Executive Order 50 to stand permanently

I fully supported the action taken by Governor McAuliffe's implementation of Executive Order 50 which banned guns or firearms from buildings learsed or owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia.  With that temporary action scheduled to end, I renew my support of this rule and ask that it be made a permanent part of Virginia Law.

Guns have no place in any public spaces, especially government facilities that are frequented by our citizens.  There are too many people with grudges, bad agendas, mental illnesses and the like who should not have guns in the first place, yet they manage a way to find them.  We should have safety in mind for our citizens visiting or working in state run offices and not allow firearms to enter these facilities.

Please consider my comments and support of Executive Order 50 -- do not let it expire.
