We do not need guns in government buildings.  Security guards have a purpose.  This is not the Wild Wild West anymore.  When no guns are allowed, the less chance there is that they will be used.  Let's make this a permanent legislation and protect both the innocent and the guilty when they are not able to restrain their emotions or are mentally disturbed.
