Please fully instate the emergency order issued by Governor McAuliffe restricting the presence of guns in buildings owned or leased by the state.  I am a resident of Blacksburg and feel the need for a reduced presence of guns in all public situations as there is very rarely an occasion where a "good guy with a gun" has helped ANY threatening situation.  The fewer guns there are in public settings, the better and safer we will all be.  Even those trained in proper handling of guns have proven to be less than reliable or safe in many situations, so leave the firearms outside when it comes to government operations.
