I oppose the ban a further infringement on my rights and safety

I oppose the proposed on lawful carry of firearms in Virginia government buildings.  It is clear that the police cannot be everywhere and are constitutionally responsible for my personal safety.  I am not an elected official, nor am I wealthy enough to hire bodyguards, therefore I am solely responsible for the safety of myself and family.  As a good citizen I am also morally responsible for those who can not defend themselves.

Do not disarm law abiding citizens.  Criminals and terrorists are criminals because they do not follow laws, this gun ban will not stop criminals or terrorists bent on destruction and death, it will only create a soft target.  Research and common sense clearly show soft targets are attractive targets to the wolves of the world.
