I support ban on guns in government buildings

Allowing the carrying of a firearm in a government building increases the likelihood of a shooting in a government building.  Government agencies necessarily take actions that may anger a person affected by the action   Courts rule for one side and against the other.  Agencies deny certain licenses or permits, take children out of dangerous homes, deny hoped-for tax benefits.  Unstable persons affected by such government actions may lash out at the court or other agency that angers them.  Public servants as well as citizens visiting government buildings should not be put at risk when a small and rational restriction on gun use can reduce the chance they will be shot performing their duty or visiting a government building.
