Gun Ban

I oppose the implemented gun ban in executive office/buildings proposed by our Governor. In today's society we must use common sense, as it is becoming ever more invisible in our rational thought process, do you really think a piece of paper on a door "prohibiting firearms" is going to stop a criminal from coming into a building a commiting a crime or mass shooting? The answer is plain and simple, it is NO. Are all the executive buildings/office protected with "armed security or police officers"? The answer is plain and simple, it is NO. This may come as a suprise to the general public who do not work in a Government envrionment however I have first hand knowledge of this because I am a State employee and work in a building where the front doors are always unlocked and open; literally ANYONE can come into our building and there is no means of security or monitoring who enters the building. DO NOT put my life, my coworkers lives, or general patrons lives at greater risk by implementing this gun ban. I would safely assume most of the public (including potential criminals/violators of this gun ban) would THINK that Government buildings and their employees have some sort of security/protection measures (as we know now this is not the case in real life). All your gun ban does is simply state we are weak and we are vulnerable.
