DO NOT DISARM LAW ABIDING CITIZENS

Those who are most threatened by government mandated gun bans are single moms whose husbands abandoned them and they are forced to live in less secure or crime-ridden neighborhoods .  They have every right to protect themselves (as we all do, as guaranteed by the Second Amendment in the U.S. Constitution) wherever they go, including state executive agencies, just as our Chief Executive of the Commonwealth has a right to protect his own life with his armed body guards.  It is hypocritical to have a policy which allows our Governor to be protected while the people are prevented from protecting themselves.  Criminals and unbalanced persons frequent government buildings just as they do other places in the Commonwealth.  Therefore, it makes no logical sense to stop law abiding people from having the ability to protect themselves in government buildings.  No gun zones are the first to be targeted by the bad guys.
