Statistics support gun free areas

Between Janaury 2009 and July 2015, there were 133 mass shootings. The FBI defines a mass shooting as any shooting where four or more people are murdered by gun. Ninety-four of the 133 incidents (71%) took place in private residences. Of the 38 incidents in publicplaces, at least 21 took place wholly or in part where concealed guns could be carried. So, the majorioty of the mass shootings that were in public places were in places where other supposedly good guys had guns, and they couldn't stop the bad guys. Only 17 of the shootings (13%) took place entirely in  “gun-free zones.” The statistics don't prove anything about good guys with guns saving people. That's nonsense. Keep guns out of public places, especially out of government office buildings. We are not animals.
