As a proud University of Virginia alumna, a Fairfax County resident, and an FCPS parent, I absolutely oppose the proposal. Educational institutions are safe spaces for the life of the mind -- not war zones, where students and faculty are forced to face gun violence.

Keep guns off our university and college campuses and grounds.
