amendment regarding "sensitive" material
amendment regarding "sensitive" material
I oppose this amendment. Leave such governance to local school boards and parent groups who can discuss what "sensitive" means in a particular locale and certify that the exact intent of any kind of material used in a classroom is locally sanctioned. This is too broad an area for the state to take on successfully and the terminology is too broad as well.
