REJECT! Sensitive? controversial? who decides?

Who will decide what the words "sensitive" and "controversial" actually mean?

  • Some people find drunkenness disturbing so we should alert everyone about Jack and the Beanstalk.
  •  What about  Where the Red Fern Grows?  I find dying dogs to be a very sensitive subject.
  • And don't forget Bambi.  Her mother is violently shot!
  • I find Muslims and terrorism controversial.  We should never discuss them.  Or Hitler and the Jews.
  • I have a problem with any mention of adultery, prostitutes, murder and idols.....someone should notify the book police because they are mentioned in the Holy Bible and we definitely need that taken out of our schools!
  • I don't want my children to know about things like S_E_X.  Even though kids in their class talk about it a lot!
  • No books about drugs please.  Even though most kids take DARE in elementary school.
  • Get rid of L. Frank Baum.  No witches and isn't a Wizard just a male witch?
  • And there better not be any homosexual penguins in the books at school either!!

STOP THE MADNESS!!   REJECT this amendment!
