Opposed to back up generators

As a resident of Fauquier County, I am opposed to the DEQ proposal to expand the allowable use of emergency back-up generators at data centers.

Data center construction is outrageous. They are stressing the electric grid and driving up electricity rates. They are being built next to homes, schools and environmental areas.

As an environmental agency it is your responsibility to protect the health of Virginians.

DO NOT DO THIS. DO NOT CATER TO THE DATA CENTER INDUSTRY AND ALL ITS EXCESSES -- AND THE ENORMOUS ADVERSE IMPACTS IT IS ALREADY HAVING ON VIRGINIANS.

If you implement the guidance you have proposed, you will be enabling data centers (and Dominion Energy) to pollute and impair our state.
