Restricting Clubhouse access for ACT recipients will negatively impact client recovery. Socialization is key for healing and learning to integrate individuals into society. Rural ACT teams are not able to bring ACT clients together easily and frequently to socialize with each other. Using a clubhouse to offer this service provides an opportunity not otherwise possible. Clubhouse and ACT both focus efforts on employment, and it is mutually beneficial to combine these efforts for clients for most effective results and leveraging resources.
