Opposition to rule change broadening emergency generator use

I am writing in opposition to the proposed rule change which would allow the use of emergency diesel generators for planned outages. I have worked in and spent time around facilities that use emergency diesel generators. Their impact on air quality when in use is serious. There is no reason why DEQ should force Virginia citizens to bear the burden of air pollution to make data center operations a little bit easier. DEQ is charged with protecting Virginia citizens and putting public health first. Please remember this when considering this rule change.
