DEQ say No to more diesel backup generator use

I live in Loudoun County and do not want to breath more polluted air.  There are more than 9,000 diesel backup generators in Loudoun and they are not designed to operate except in emergencies. Alternatives that protect human health must be used.  Tier IV generators that have more pollution control features must  be used.  For planned power outages, Tier IV generators should be rented.  The data center industry is rich enough to come up with solutions that do not harm public health.  They should be a good neighbor to Loudoun residents.  DEQ, do your job to protect human health by requiring the data center industry clean up its act.  Do not permit more air pollution.
