Guidance Document Change: DEQ Guidance Memo APG-578 addresses the use of emergency generators in the case of “sudden and reasonably unforeseeable events” as the result of a planned electric outage.
Polluting emergency generators should not be allowed for planned outages! If we have to have these data center atrocities, at least work to make them as eco-friendly as possible. The use of sustainable renewable energy sources needs to be maximized.
