Strongly oppose use of diesel generators in non emergency situations for data centers.

I strongly oppose the use of diesel generators for non emergency use in planned outages for data centers. (for that matter I oppose diesel generators period).

How on earth does this comply with the stated DEQ mission to "protect and enhance the environment of Virginia?

Diesel generators are dirty, loud, inefficient. It is the last thing we need to introduce now, with climate change and a heated environment already causing our air to become more polluted.

You cannot claim to be for "better air quality" while introducing softer regulations that enable a polluting industry.

We need cleaner alternatives.
