Doesn't make sense.

To the DEQ, this does not make sense. Simply put.

From the DEQ website, "to ensure the continued vitality of these precious and valuable [natural] resources, DEQ carries out its mission to protect and improve the environment for the health, well-being and quality of life of all Virginians."

Running data centers during resource limited periods threatens this well-being and quality the DEQ promises Virginians. Data centers pollute the air and water that Virginians utilize. They put stress on the grid and have the potential to cause outages for Virginians who seriously have no interest in the work of mega data.

Why are we changing regulations? It doesn't make sense.
