The proposed note-taking requirements resemble those used in residential or skill-building services, representing a major shift in how clubhouse documentation is currently done.
Intake and assessment expectations under both this policy and CPST requirements would require far more comprehensive assessments completed before enrollment and authorizations created within a single day—shorter than the current one-week window.
Requiring additional physician documentation for diagnoses (including unclear “related disorders”) to be included in authorizations is viewed as excessive.
