Don’t Loosen Restrictions on Diesel Generator Use

I am very concerned about the public health implications of loosening the restrictions on diesel center usage so that they could be used for engender periods of time - while interruptions to electricity supply which are foreseeable occur. Data Centers need to have alternative less polluting means of getting a reliable source of power - including tied IV diesel or retrofitted Tier II or other. If permits are given, there should be on site inspection til s and the public should be informed. At a time when we are having increasing success in cutting down air pollution from cars, we shouldn’t be risking sending it up again and threatening public health via too much use of large diesel generators! Thank you
