The region where my husband and I chose to make our home over 30 years ago has long been known for supporting smart growth — meaning limiting development that threatens our finite water supply, clean air, and quiet scenic beauty. The influx of data centers threatens these things like nothing in our past has ever done. Our future health and economic security are at stake. We oppose everything that will make it easier for mega-corporations to eat away like a cancer at our countryside and our quality of life. That means data center and the generators required to run them.
