All children deserve a permanent and loving foster home

As a foster parent, I see how many children end up in group homes. This doesn't happen because we do not have enough foster homes, it happens because we do not have the right home for the child. In traditional homes we often already have children or many simply want babies. Older children are suffering because we have have decided to play politics at the peril of our children. We should be ashamed of ourselves. Our most vulnerable citizens need for us to speak on there behalf. These precious children need more options than are currently available. Foster and adoptive children should have the same civil rights as the rest of America, the right to life, liberty and the oursuit of happiness. We as a state should not further victimize already abused and neglected children by denying them parents who want to love and care for them for life. Please think of our children and give them permanent homes with loving parents, who happen to be gay.

Thank you
