Do NOT Discriminate

In my opinion, State Licensed Agencies have no right to turn down an applicant looking to foster or adopt a child based on race, religion, sexual orientation, etc...  Too many children are in need of good homes and to discriminate against a person based on any of the previous factors is an antiquated way of thinking and just plain wrong.  If someone is willing to open up their homes and their hearts to foster or adopt a child then none of these factors matter.  What matters is what is in the best interest of the child.  A stable and loving home is all that should be looked at when determining whether a child should be placed with someone.  I hope that I live in a state that the rights of individuals are not stripped away due to prejudicial and descriminatory practices.
