Virginia should not be in the business of discriminating against anyone, and that includes the matter of allowing gay & lesbian couples to adopt children. As a lifelong citizen of this commonwealth, I am becoming increasingly disturbed by what I perceive as a trend towards marching backward in time. Bigotry should never be disguised as family values and no one should be excluded from adopting children based solely on their sexual orientation.
