I would ask that you all please not disable a large number of adoption agencies by forcing them to violate their consciences in various ways.  It is legitimate for these agencies to operate according to long-standing and reasonable moral convictions. 

If these agencies are pressured into breaking their ethics, many will close down instead of break what they believe to be right, which will only harm many children looking for adoptive families.
