Dear Sir/Madam:

I wish to add my voice to those in Virginia speaking out on behalf of both children needing parents and gay residents of our state seeking to become parents. 

I strongly believe that it is the committment of the individual to be a responsible parent that counts.  Sexual orientation is irrelevant to that committment and should not be in any way considered a factor in adoption.
