Put Kids First

To whom it may concern:

I am a voter living in Virginia. Any decisions about parents offering homes to children in need should be based on the best interests of the child and not be influenced by discriminatory factors which have nothing to do with good parenting.

There are more than 1,000 children waiting to be adopted in the commonwealth of Virginia.  Please do not limit their chances of finding a loving home. Gender, age, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation, disability, or family status should have no weight in determining whether or not someone is able to adopt.

Any agency working on behalf of the commonwealth's citizens should be bound by the prinicpals of nondiscrimination regardless if they are private or public agencies.
