As a resident in the State of Virginia, I support non-discrimination protections for prospective parents based on sexual orientation, gender, race, color, national origin, political or religious affiliation, disability, and age. These critical protections will help ensure that more safe and supportive homes are available for foster youth waiting for their forever homes. Every child deserves a family, so let’s do all that we can to open up more homes of qualified prospective parents.

To clarify my position, let me state that I have a married (in Massachusetts) lesbian daughter, who with her partner, have a child.  That child knows NOtHING but love! The gender of his parents have nothing to do with the love he is surrounded with.
