Non-discrimination in adoptions

As an adoptive parent of a now-adult child, I can attest that adoption can be difficult and challenging.  I see no reason to limit the pool of interested adoptive parents.   This is especially the case when we see that some adoptions are to neglectful families.

We need every committed parent we can get, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, political persuasion, etc.

PLEASE do the RIGHT thing, and adopt regulations that are non-discriminatory, expansive, and responsible, not ideological, narrow, and punitive.

Do not make us ashamed of Virginia.
