Faith-based agencies provide vital services to our communities. They must be allowed to continue the great work they are doing.  Aside from that, please consider very carefully those who are truly at risk should you decide to go through with this regulatory action. 

Many private agencies will have to close, automatically condemning those children patiently waiting for loving families to be at the mercy of an overworked, understaffed state system. There are already extreme cuts to medicaid in the state of Virginia,  other cuts can't be too far behind.  So you will heap these children into an already under-funded system to be lost in an already staggering "in-pile" on an adoption case worker's desk. 

Let the private agencies continue to offer their services!
