I think this is a fantastic organization. Being transgendered, I know that if I want kids one day, I will most likely have to adopt. And considering the way things are now, I probably will have to go through a whole lot of nonsense, just to be turned down..when I know I would be great father..but the fact that my gender is different now than it was when I was born..is frightening for some people. Gay people have been struggling for far too long to get the simple things and this is not something that should be questioned. This isn't something that should be an issue, but it is. The sad thing is, an adoption agency would rather give a child to a crackhead and his wife than two gay men or women. Why? Because it isn't natural to have gay parents. Or it isn't in the bible. Or something else equally as ignorant. This should not be tolerated. The LGBT community has been fighting for their rights for entirely too long. And no, we will not back down. Ever. We deserve everything that the straight male with his cliche wife deserve. Stop the hate. Stop the discrimination. But most importantly..give children a chance to be exposed to love. To happiness. To open minds. To everything a child SHOULD be exposed to.
