As a gay woman with my partner living in VA, I can tell you that I will not consider living in VA because of the anti-gay laws in place.  When my partner and I decide to live together,  she will move from Fairfax to MD and take her tax money with her.  And  if FBOs want to discriminate against gay parents they should not be subsidized with tax payer money.  I am hopeful that MD will pass a law this legislative year to allow gays to marry in MD.  My money will go to MD for my marriage license and my property taxes will go to MD and my state income tax will go to MD.  Get my drift.
