State money = state protection from discrimination

If these adoption agencies receive state funding, they have no right to screen applicants with private biases. There should be no discrimination by adoption agencies based on sexual preference, religion, age, veteran status, or even gender identification, not just by race, ethnicity or national origin. It is unfair to deny children adoption due to discrimination on the part of the agencies. I support agencies that want to give children good homes- let potential adoptees' qualities as a parent be the deciding factor, not whether they would attend the same place of worship or live the same life as those who work at the adoption agency. Please, don't let codified discrimination continue- every loving couple should get the chance to adopt.
