As you further consider regulations regarding adoption issues, I urge you to maintain protections for religious based adoption agencies.

Faith based agencies have a right to make decisions that are consistent with their religious beliefs and parents should have the right to adopt through agencies that share their religious beliefs.

Please, preserve these rights and continue Virginia's heritage of religious freedom by providing for exemptions for religious based adoption agencies so that they may continue to provide much needed adoption services consistent with their beliefs.
