Religious freedom is a great heritage of Virginia.  Any action which would curtail the right of religious freedom and association would severely damage the operational effectiveness of adoption programs in VA.  We need more, not fewer, adoption agencies.  The Board had it right when they acted in April.  Don't change it now.  The changes proposed by some would dramatically reduce the opportuinty for successful adoptions for many children.  Forcing agencies and individuals to choose between following their own values or following the proposed discriminatory regulations would be a grievous violation of religious freedom.  Ddon't do it.
