A father and a mother who love each other, who love children, and who are financially able are best equipped to create a healthy physical, emotional and spiritual environment for the nurture of children. Children need both a father (male) and a mother (female) because children learn from role models how to behave in the world. Although homosexuals can be good-hearted people, they cannot provide the two role models necessary for healthy maturation. 

Faith-based agencies seek just such homes in which to place adoptions. The state has no right to force them to do otherwise.
