I have many friends who are gay and who have had biological or adopted children.  They raise their children just like the rest of us do.  They are responsible, loving parents who, just like the rest of us, do their best to provide for their children as well as they possibly can.

I am completely in support of allowing gay people, whether in partnerships or not, to adopt children using the same guidelines which are in place for all other people.  It is time for discrimination against gays and lesbians to END.  It is absurd, antiquated, and embarrassing for our society.  Our grandchildren and those following them will look back upon this discimination the way we do on slavery.  It is simply incomprehensible why this discrimination exists.
