Hello,

 As a parent that happens to be gay I am so ashamed that, in the state that I live in, vote in, and pay taxes in, there is this hateful drive to keep children out of loving families. I know people that have had to move out of the state in order to protect their childrens well being because the state does not allow non-married couples to adopt. The issue of Gay or Straight should not be the criteria for adoption. The qualifications should be the ability to love, support, and care for the child.
