I support adoption regulations including anti-discrimination protections for prospective parents based on sexual orientation, disability, age, gender, race, color, national origin, political or religious affiliation. Children have the right to live with people who will love and care for them. Adoption should be open to anyone who wants to provide a family regardless of the above mentioned areas. I know several families who have adopted children. If one looked at them in terms of sexual orientation or race, those children would have missed the opportunity to be with parents who provied a wonderful family experience. It is not fair to judge suitability based those factors.
