The State Board of Social Services MUST restore all protections agains discrimination in their final proposal. What does it tell a child if the agency has the right to say "we will not place you with this loving home because the family is X"? Hatred and discrimination are learned behaviors. Do not say it is okay to discriminate for any reason. It is NEVER in the best interest of the child to learn such behaviors and to be denied a loving home.
