I am an adoptive parent, and I know how important it is for all children to find that forever family that they need to grow and thrive and be loved. Adopting my daughter was one of the best and hardest things I've ever done in my life and I wouldn't change a thing about it.  Not only do all children deserve loving parents but all adults who are capable and want children should be able to provide that love and home that they wish to share.  In addition to the present protections, I support reform of the anti-discrimination policy to also include protection for prospective adoptive parents regardless of sexual orientation, gender, age, religion, and political afilliation.  Please reform the adoption rules in Virginia to increase these opportunities for thousands of parents and children!
