As an adopted child myself, and now a mother of a 1 year old, I can say that the most important thing for any baby or child, is love.  Love can come from anywhere- single, straight, gay, etc.  When are we going to stop using children as a platform for our personal political gain?  If we are truly looking to protect our children, let's get them into homes where they are loved, cared for & safe.
